Non -Aciid Portals by Devy Mortals

Non-Acid Portals represents a meditation on perception and threshold. Created in 2019, this work emerges from a deliberate rejection of digital overthinking—a return to intuitive mark-making and analog contemplation.

The piece channels spatial ambiguity through layered forms that resist singular interpretation. Viewers encounter shifting focal points, inviting prolonged engagement rather than immediate resolution. This tension between clarity and obscurity defines the work's conceptual core.

Hand-executed with archival materials, Non-Acid Portals inhabits the liminal space between abstraction and representation. It speaks to those seeking art that deepens with sustained attention—work that questions rather than answers.
