✨ "Enchanted Forest" – Artist Description

A 6x4 ft mixed media painting, Enchanted Forest is a fully immersive world layered from corner to corner, created over years beginning in 2019.

Built on a foundation of vibrant, infused greens—from neon to natural tones—the piece draws the viewer into a dreamlike pathway leading to a flowing river. Deep and luminous blues were layered throughout, using an entire spectrum of hues to create movement, depth, and a sense of emotional release. Gold spray paint adds a shimmering, almost wind-like energy, blending street art influence with fine art elegance.

Towering, elongated trees stretch across the canvas, their bark detailed with hand-applied moss using sponge techniques, bringing texture and life upward from the forest floor. Above them, soft stratus cloud clusters signal the warmth and rebirth of spring.

At its heart are two symbolic flowers:

Purple Wisteria — representing love, endurance, longevity, and new beginnings
Red Spider Lily (Higanbana) — symbolizing death, reincarnation, and spiritual transformation

The Higanbana is sculpted with 3D paint, giving it a lifelike stem that physically rises from the canvas—blurring the line between painting and reality.

Additional elements like mushrooms and layered textures invite a "down the rabbit hole" feeling—playful, surreal, and slightly mysterious. Neon greens and 3D grass create a glowing, mystical ground, while a final gloss coat seals the entire piece in a radiant finish.

Rooted in nature, spirituality, and personal identity, this work reflects a deep connection to Gaia and to my brand, where the flower is a symbol of growth, resilience, and creative life force.
